Citizen & Resident Status and Italian Origin

Canadian citizen (must provide proof)

Quebec resident (must provide proof)

Italian Origin (must provide proof)
University Students

Second year undergraduate students or later (especially M.A. , PhD and postdoctoral students), with interest in Italian Canadian Studies.

All Italian Diaspora Studies Summer Seminar course work will be in English; applicants should thus have a strong knowledge of English
Questions to answer
1- What is your connection to your Italian origins and what do you think it means to be Italian Canadian in Montreal? What do you consider to be the most important achievements of Italian Canadians in Montreal?
2- Describe your current research or creative project about Montreal’s Italian Canadian community and how this fellowship will help you complete it. If you are not currently working on a project, describe a research or creative project about Montreal’s Italian Canadian community that you would like to develop and how this fellowship will help you achieve your goal.
